Our Process
01
The Brief
A direct conversation with Abi to understand the role, the project and the technical requirement, not just a job description.
02
Network Search
Around ninety-nine per cent of placements come through People in Power’s own network and referrals, not job boards or cold advertising.
03
Technical Vetting
Candidates are assessed against what the project actually needs, including any framework or certification requirements, before they are ever put forward.
04
Introduction
A close CV-to-placement ratio, typically 1:1 or 2:1. Every introduction is one we would stake our name on.
05
Placement & Beyond
The relationship does not end at offer stage. Abi stays in contact with both client and candidate well beyond placement.
Framework and Certification-Ready
Access to major frameworks depends on certification, not just competence. SSE, for example, will not consider a candidate for framework-approved work without the right authorised access certifications already in place. We resource against that reality, not around it, so the people we put forward are ready to work from day one, not six months into onboarding.
Frequently Asked Question
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or schedule a free consultation with our team of experts.
How many CVs will I see per role?
Typically one or two per role. We do not send volume shortlists; every introduction has already been technically vetted.
Do you post roles on job boards?
Rarely. Around ninety-nine per cent of placements come through our own network and referrals.
What happens after someone is placed?
Abi stays in touch with both sides. The relationship is ongoing, not a one-off transaction.
